The best training treat: Chicken Heart Treats. Single ingredient, high-protein, low-fat, great for any size dog (easy to break up for our little guys, full-size for our big ones). And all dogs seem to love them.
The best leash: Latigo Leather Leash. A leather leash is easiest on our hands. 6 feet long - long enough for our small dogs. Narrow so it doesn't get in the way, but strong enough to hold all but the biggest and most rambunctious dogs.
The best treat pouch: Adventure Treat Bag. Small enough to be out of the way and unobtrusive when you hook it to your belt or pocket but big enough to hold enough treats for a training session. Plus it has a drawstring top that tucks away.
The best clicker: iClick Clicker. Comfortable in your hand. Easy to click. Not too loud, not too soft. A clicker is not required for training, but a clicker allows you to be precise in your timing and consistent in sound.
The best tug toy: Moople. Natural rubber toy, fresh off the farm, made in the USA. Dogs love it. Easy to hang onto. If your dog seems uninterested at first, try putting a dab of peanut butter into the crevice in the wide part.
