Freeze-dried treats
Turkey hearts are sliced and
freeze-dried at a USDA-inspected plant in Wisconsin to produce these wholesome treats for your small dog. Freeze drying
retains all the nutrition in fresh raw meat, eliminating the majority of the moisture content.
Quantity and Size
Net weight for the
pouch is 2 ounces. As you can see from the pictures above, there are dozens of treats in each package. The pouch is recloseable. Each treat is about
1/8 inch thick. The
diameter varies, because the original source varies. The treats range from about 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inches in diameter. And the treats are
easy to break into smaller yummy goodness for your little dog!
A Great Dog Training Treat!
We use
Turkey Heart Treats when we're doing a training session with our dogs. I have a whole piece in one hand and just
break little pieces off as a reward when my dog does something I like. I can use one piece for four to six rewards or more!
