Vented VestHarness serves 3 uses for your small dog!
The Vented VestHarness by Canine Friendly at RC Pets is a 3-in-1 vest-type harness for your small dog. It's a walking harness that also serves as a car seat belt harness! It also provides great protection for your small dog's chest. The material for the chest piece is soft, breathable mesh. The VestHarness is also available in durable nylon with a soft lining.
No-Choke Harness
Teddy (wearing Size Small) is ready for a walk. Even if Teddy pulls on the leash, he won't choke. Any leash pressure is distributed over the chest since the leash ring is very far back on Teddy's spine.
Car Restraint for your Small Dog
And when he's in the car, he's safe in the seat. The Vented VestHarness is designed to prevent driver distraction and keep your little dog from wandering in the car.
Adjustable Straps
The straps on both sides of the chest piece are
adjustable, and there are
release clasps on both sides. Just open one side, slip the VestHarness over your little dog's head, put one paw through the opening and fasten the clasp. Or, open both side clasps, put the harness over the dog's head, and clasp the harness on both sides.
Easy Care
The Vented VestHarness is
machine washable.

Light Reflective
The material is breathable, cushiony mesh. The gray stripes and the "Canine Friendly" logo on the chest are light reflective.
To Use as a Car Restraint:
The top strap is actually two pieces of webbing. To use the Vented VestHarness as a
car restraint, slip the
car seat belt between. The pictures below are of Booker in the regular
VestHarness - the top strap on the Vented VestHarness works the same way! (Click on a picture to expand it.)
Keep sliding the seat belt (both straps) through the webbing and fasten the seat belt behind your dog:
In all probability, your little dog does not weigh enough to turn the airbag on for the passenger seat, but to be safe, you might want to manually turn it off if you can.) Booker (Boston Terrier) at about 18 pounds, does not trigger the air bag.
