VestHarness - the 3-in-1 Harness for your Small Dog
The VestHarness by RC Pets is a versatile walking harness for your small dog that doubles as a car seat belt harness! It also provides great protection for your small dog's chest.
No-Choke Small Dog Harness
The leash ring is far back on your little dog's spine, distributing leash pressure over his chest. Angel the Schnauzer is wearing her Pink VestHarness.
Golly (in Red) won't ride in the car in anything but her VestHarness. And Booker, below, in Royal Blue, is safe in his seat next to me, and not running all over the car. (
Please note that the VestHarness is designed to prevent driver distraction and keep your little dog from wandering in the car.)
Adjustable side straps
The straps on both sides of the tummy piece are adjustable, and there are side release clasps on both sides. Just open one side, slip the VestHarness over your little dog's head, put one paw through the opening and fasten the clasp.
Easy care
The Vest Harness is
machine washable.

The leash D-ring is at the base (toward the tail) of the VestHarness, distributing any leash pressure over the chest and back.
The harness is made of nylon. The inside is lined with soft plush so it feels good on your little dog's chest. If you like harnesses in breathable mesh, the Vented VestHarness is also available.
Use as a Car Restraint for your Small Dog
The top strap is actually two pieces of webbing. To use the VestHarness as a
car restraint, slip the
car seat belt between: (Click on a picture to expand it.)
Keep sliding the seat belt (both straps) through the webbing and fasten the seat belt behind your dog:
In all probability, your little dog does not weigh enough to turn the airbag on for the passenger seat, but to be safe, you might want to manually turn it off if you can.) Booker (Boston Terrier) at about 18 pounds, does not trigger the air bag.
