About Golly Gear

We know it’s not easy to find suitable gear for our little dogs. So we set out to find it and bring it to you. We are Hope and Fran Saidel, sisters, and owners of Golly and Roc (Brussels Griffons), Ceilidh (Boston Terrier) and Dax (French Bulldog).

With more than 20 years’ experience in retail and over 40 years living with little dogs, we know that customers want great merchandise, reasonable prices, and prompt service. We pledge all of these. We will never share any information you provide without your permission. We will never share name, address, telephone, credit card or other payment information.


Golly Gear products are obtained from many manufacturers who have different sizing and different measuring guidelines. Where appropriate, the page for each product will have a sizing chart with the manufacturer's recommendations. When measuring your little dog, it's best to use a tape measure like the one used by tailors and seamstresses. Generally, the "length" is measured from the base of your little dog's neck to the base of the tail. The "girth" or "chest" is measured around the dog's chest, right behind the front legs at the broadest part. If you don't have a tape measure, mark the measurement on a piece of string, put the string next to a yardstick or other rigid ruler and get the exact measurement.

When you click the image on a product page, one of the product displayed will be added to your shopping cart and you'll be taken right to your shopping cart so that you can see what you've put there. You can click on any of the categories or press to go back to the Golly Gear home page, or you can .

If you'd like to purchase a product that has options like size or color choices, click on the image on the product page and you'll be taken to a page where you can make your selection. Just click on the color you want or click on the drop-down menu to choose. When you make this selection, choose the quantity and click on the "Add one to cart" button. This page will be revised to show how many of the item is in your shopping basket or cart. To continue shopping, just click on any of the categories at the top of the page, or on the Golly Gear logo. If you'd like to see what is in your shopping cart or checkout, click on the button.

To checkout, just click on the button and you'll be taken to a secure page to complete billing, shipping and credit card information. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express cards and PayPal payments.

Sales tax on orders shipped to Illinois addresses is 10%.

Shipping and Returns from Golly Gear
We won't gouge you on shipping. We hate when it happens to us, we won't do it to you. Shipping rates are based on the U.S. Postal Service rates to your address and the shipping weight for each product, and we offer a choice of services. Shipping options will appear in a drop-down menu after you enter your billing and shipping addresses during the checkout process, before any payment method is entered. The approximate delivery time (in number of business days) is shown next to the service and shipping charge to make it easier to choose the appropriate method for your order.

Some large items are oversized and additional shipping costs will apply. This will be noted on the product page.

For U.S. orders over $100, standard shipping is free. Be sure to click on "Free Shipping over $100" in the Shipping box.

International orders - You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges to clear customs are the responsibility of the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information.

Mail Orders - If you choose to place your order by mail, please refer to the chart on the order form. The fees are generally based on US Priority Mail service.

We ship most orders within 24 hours. If you place an order after 1:00 Saturday afternoon, Central Time, the order will be shipped on Monday. If our timetable changes (for example, if we take a couple of days off), a notice will be placed at the top of our Home page.

We try to make sure that the items available for online ordering are in stock, but sometimes we do sell out of particular items. If the item you've ordered is not currently in stock, we will email you to inquire if you'd like to cancel the order or send the item(s) to you when our new stock arrives.

Satisfaction Guaranteed - We want you to be happy with every purchase from Golly Gear. Please contact us (800-694-6531) with any question or issue and we'll do our best to resolve the problem.

Exchanges - We hope all your Golly Gear fits perfectly, but if it doesn't, you may exchange any item within 30 days. There is no additional shipping charge for exchanges.

Returns - We will accept returns within 30 days of receipt. Merchandise must be in original condition. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Food items and tags cannot be exchanged or returned.
